I was born to a Jamaican Dad and English Mum and raised in Stockport. I was mainly raised by my mother and her family. I have been blessed with opportunities to explore and experience many different walks of life including different countries, cities, careers, and the "subcultures" of different racial, cultural and class groups within England. Diversity gives purpose, meaning and richness to my life. Ironically, this is something which I feel has always been lacking in my hometown Stockport. The celebration, intermingling and embracing of diversity need welding into the roots of future generations.
