My name is Blessing Uwa Okundolor. I am 39 years old. I am a mother of 4 beautiful girls. I was born and bred in Nigeria. I moved to the UK 12 years ago. I worked as a carer in the past, I am currently studying independent film making. Being a Black Woman that was brought up under the African culture has been incredibly challenging as well as interesting as a mother. The difference between the African culture and the UK culture is quite wide, It has been very challenging balancing both cultures in the upbringing of my children, But it is also interesting having to do things differently from the regimental way I was brought up. I am proud to be Black and also proud of how I have been able to mix both cultures in the parenting of my kids.
